Experience

Maria's experience is with individual relationships and business executives at all levels. She describes "Everyone is unique but can have issue that appear similar to others. I look at the person as a new interesting person who has value and who has positive and negative areas of life. By looking at the positive as well as problematic areas I help the client find a way to bring the harder areas of their self into their positive view and working both tougher to transform their own perspective on issues that appear too difficult and too challenging to cope with on their own. I have experienced wonderful changes taking place".

Specialisms & Therapeutic Approaches

Dr. Maria's training was Jungian based and her PhD was both Jungian and Freudian. She describes "I love Jung’s work and approach because it is fluid and adaptive. I follow with his four basic tenets, Confession, Elucidation, Education, Transformation and through observing your microcosm within the macrocosm. I help connect with the whole person, their past experiences and their family learnings. I ask about their families because the basic coping strategy, attachment, emotional empathy, emotional networks and emotional connections begins at a very young age and with that of your family whether positive or negative. Problems today more than at any time in recent history I also give coping strategies and understanding on how to integrate disruptive feelings".

Maria provide's one-on-one psychotherapy sessions to help individuals navigate personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, addiction, low self-esteem, relationship issues, separation, work-related stress and trauma. Through dialogue, she explores unconscious patterns and bring them to light, enabling clients to gain clarity and healing. Maria's approach is rooted in Jungian psychology, emphasising self-discovery and transformation.

Maria also works with couples, both together and separately, to mediate conflicts and resolve underlying relationship issues.
